In the Wake of Aphrodite
Days
Overview
Kythira is known as the island of Aphrodite — where beauty rose from the sea and life still
moves at a gentler pace.
This retreat is an invitation to cross oceans and slow down, to reconnect with yourself through
movement, nature, and authentic cultural experience.
Join Molly, lead teacher of Yoga Centered , for a week-long journey on one of Greece’s most
soulful and unspoiled islands. Guided by Molly’s thoughtful, grounded teaching, we will explore
yoga as a practice of presence, connection, and ease — both on and off the mat.
Each day will begin with intentional yoga practices designed to support strength, openness, and
nervous system balance. Evenings invite reflection, rest, and gentle unwinding as the island
light softens and the sea settles. Between practices, we immerse ourselves in the rhythms of
island life — nourishing meals, time by the water, cultural exploration, and shared moments that
unfold naturally.
This retreat welcomes all levels and is ideal for those seeking depth without pressure,
movement without force, and connection without rush. It is a space to reset, to feel held by
nature, and to rediscover simplicity, beauty, and joy.

For over two decades, Molly Masaoka has been sharing her passion for yoga around the world. Based in Hilo, Hawai’i, she teaches alignment-based, restorative, and therapeutic yoga with a style that blends depth, compassion, and humor.
After a serious spinal injury from a surfing accident, Molly experienced firsthand yoga’s powerful ability to heal. This journey shaped her therapeutic approach and deepened her commitment to helping others reconnect with their bodies.
Molly views the yoga mat as a microcosm for life, encouraging students to let go of perfection and embrace the present moment. Through retreats, trainings, and workshops worldwide, she creates spaces for healing, growth, and authentic connection.

Anna’s journey into yoga began through her background in athletics. After moving from Greece to California on a basketball scholarship at the University of the Pacific (NCAA Division I), injuries led her to discover yoga and mindfulness as powerful tools for recovery and balance.
Over the years, yoga evolved from a personal practice into a lifelong path. Anna trained with inspiring teachers, including Annie Carpenter, and today serves as a Senior Yoga Teacher Trainer with YogaWorks, leading 200-hour and 300-hour teacher trainings in Greece and internationally.
She is also the founder of Little Moments Retreats & Experiences, creating meaningful retreats around the world that combine yoga, meditation, nature, and cultural experiences. Through her teaching and retreats, Anna invites students to slow down, reconnect, and cultivate presence both on and off the mat.
